Some 50 residents turned out to clear Pickwick Walk service road and the service road beside Kwik Fit. The skip was filled. The mattresses, furniture, oil drums and rubbish bags were piled up for Council disposal. Cllr Matthew Goodwin-Freeman has arranged with Harrow Litter Pickers for a skip to be delivered to the service road behind Pickwick Walk, off Grimsdyke Road on Sunday 17 November. This is so that the fly-tipping in the service road can be cleared. The Hatch End Association will be helping to clear the rubbish and would welcome any volunteers to come and assist us. We will be meeting at 10am and should be finished by 12 noon but you don’t have to stay for the full 2 hours – any time you can spare would be welcome.
