The Hatch End Association has been asked to let you know that if you have been walking in the area off Oxhey Lane where the planning application for 258 new homes is, for the last 20 years, and you want to keep the area green belt and for walking, to write into the Planning Inspector.
“You will have heard about the application to built 258 houses near the new Care home along Oxhey Lane. This has gone to appeal and various associations (such as Carpenters Park Residence Association) are trying to fight it. It is the narrowest Green Belt around London. The developers have very recently fenced off the land saying it’s inaccessible.
We need as many people as possible to send an email to the Planning Inspector. There are only a couple of weeks left to do this before the planning meeting.
You have to say you have been walking there where the area has recently been fenced off, for more than 20 years. (The significance of this is you have been allowed to roam – and this implies permission). Use reference: 25/1020/OUT, land east of Oxhey Lane
