Riverside Park

Hatch End Riverside Park

The Hatch End Association in conjunction with Harrow Council and the Harrow Arts Centre are in the process of creating a new Riverside Park. We have initial funding but require the support of local residents to help design the Park and support the area when completed. We plan to call the volunteers ‘The Friends of the Riverside Park’. If you would like to participate in the Friends’ Group, email heacoms@aol.com or leave message on the website.

Hatch End Riverside Park

Hatch End Riverside Park ~ Improvements

Principles of Design Engagement Event: Consultation

21 March 2022 at 1pm-4pm
at
Hatch End Suites, Harrow Arts Centre, 171 Uxbridge Road, Hatch End, HA5 4EA

What’s going on?

We are consulting on ideas to reinvigorate this currently underutilised green space, to build a stronger connection to the River Pinn while creating a more ecologically rich environment for the enjoyment of the community. This is the first engagement event for the project and we would like to hear the thoughts of local people from “blue sky thinking” to practical concerns. We would be particularly keen to get your thoughts around:

  • Current use and aspirations
  • The potential for natural play
  • The potential for food growing
  • How the space might relate to the performing arts

Location of park

Directly west and south of the Harrow Arts Centre in Hatch End. Located on google maps here.

Going forwards

Going forwards it is intended to develop this into a community project with a friends group perhaps the Friends of Hatch End Pinn Park, to look after the enhanced park and maintain it in conjunction with Harrow Council.

The Hatch End Association welcomes all residents and anyone interested in this project attend the consultation.
